Job Duties

Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation therapies/services and the application of these services to persons with intellectual disabilities. Working knowledge of supervisory principles and practices; general knowledge of applied behavior analysis and its application to training for persons with developmental disabilities; ability to follow written and verbal policies and procedures; demonstrated ability to train and supervise others; ability to schedule work assignments; ability to summarize data and write concise progress reports; ability to verbally present objective review information to the id team, the community and residents’ family/authorized representatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree / Physical Therapy
Virginia license to practice Physical Therapy from the Department of Health Professions

Valid Virginia driver’s license may be required, depending upon the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Additional Considerations

Experience coordinating rehabilitation services for persons with intellectual disabilities.

These positions are hourly/wage and not eligible for benefits. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than 29 hours a week and are limited to working 1500 hours in a year.
