Description

DON’T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE. Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Childrens facility.
**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**

Required:
• CA License
• 2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment
• PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained
• Heart transplant experience
• Willing to float between units
• BLS
• PALS
• Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation

Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED. The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit. They have, on rare occasion, floated to Bernardy Center.

Shifts: (discussed in interview)
• 3x12 variable shifts, will consider straight nights (no straight days)
• 13 week contracts

Requested Time Off:
6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)
Must be available to work holidays

Ratio:1:1-2

Unit Summary: 30-37 beds. Seeing post op cardiac surgical care, cardiology patients, complex congenital patients, acquired heart disease patients, heart transplantation, VAD’s and ECMO. Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Patients can range from neonatal up to 23.

CVICU:

Flu shot required
Remede Consulting Group Job ID #AC-17638. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
