Description

Position / Specialty: Infection Control Nurse (INFECTION CONTROL/PREVENTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

This will be mostly in an Employee/Occupation Health setting. There will be no hands-on inpatient work, however, the individual will be on the inpatient occasionally doing infection control audits and patient surveillance, as well as other tasks necessary.

Shift: 08:00-16:30, Monday through Friday
Ratios: Unknown
Years of experience REQ: 1-2 years experience as an infection control RN
First-timers accepted: N
Weekend REQ: Y - will be determined by unit's needs
Certs REQ:
- Valid IL license required at time of submission
- BLS
- PALS (AHA or ARC only)
- BSN
Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? TBD by need
Open to accommodating block schedule? Y - Monday-Friday schedule
Locals accepted: Y – same rate as travelers
Pending License accepted: N - IL license required at time of submission
RTO Restrictions: RTO must be approved and included in the contract prior to the start date - No RTO may be added after the contract has started.
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours for 3-12 hour shifts
48 hours for 4-12 hour shifts
40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours (8-hour and 10-hour shifts)
