Job Description ECU Health About ECU Health Physicians ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina. Position Summary Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records. Minimum Requirements HS graduate or equivalent (or higher) required. One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred. Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA. American Heart Association BLS Required American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Other Information Department: ECU Health Orhopedics Washington. Shifts: Position is PRN, as needed. Hours vary. Weekend: No. On-Call: No. Other: May work in other clinics in Washington Area.
