Description
At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Virtual Care Nurse Managers are responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Directs multiple nursing units within a care area. St. Luke's Virtual Care Center is in the heart of downtown Boise, surrounded by skiable mountains and raftable rivers. St. Luke's Virtual Care Center exists to optimize acute care outcomes through collaboration and the use of technology. The team-based model of care enables patients in our hospitals to have access to specialty resources, when and where they are needed.

What you can expect from this role
- Be a strong liaison with our acute care bedside team within St. Luke's system
- Leadership oversight for TeleICU/ Virtual Nursing or Remote Patient Management/Central Monitoring (dependent on nursing background)
- Attend all safety huddles within St Luke's system and be a critical player and influencer
- Have entrepenurial vision for future areas to support for St. Luke's system
- Autonomy in leadership
- Use cutting edge technology, including upcoming AI usage
- Full-time (1.0 FTE), mostly days, but will need to interact with night shift team(s), M-F, rotating point leader on weekends
- Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors' of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 5 years' clinical experience in assigned area
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
