Job Description:

Currently, we’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Richardson, Texas. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $43 - $45 an hour
- Maternity leave beginning of 2024-2025 School Year
- Hours per week: Full-time. 37.5 hours/week for 12 weeks
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: October 2024
- Location: In-Person Only
- Details: Speech-Language Pathologist for upcoming short term leave. Part-time candidates considered.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Texas SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
