Title: CT Technologist
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Contract: 17 Week assignment (Start on 6/17 through 10/10)

Shift/Schedule: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Monday – Friday

-ON CALL SCHEDULE:
-11:00 pm – 7:00 am Monday – Friday
• Rotate with other CT Technologists, typically one night/week.
• Call backs average 1-2 overnight shift. 24 hours/day Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
• Rotate with other CT Technologists, typically every fourth weekend. • Average 10 call backs on the weekend shift. Call back response time is 25 minutes.

Requirements:
• ARRT(R)(CT)
• State of Wisconsin License
• Basic Life Support
Top Qualifications: Experienced CT Technologist with previous travel/agency assignments, preferred.
• Must be able to perform all CT examinations in the expected timeframe and follow through upon completion of the exam.
• Skill with setting IV. • Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently (alone) during the shift.
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills to work with all members of the Imaging Services team and other patient care team members.

EQUIPMENT: Siemens AXIOM definition edge CT Scanner (seven years old). Bayer Healthcare power injector.

At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three (3) months of hire.*
